Fall Foliage in the Adirondacks: Wordless Wednesday

This is only a partial Wordless Wednesday, because I’m going to be mad at myself if I don’t explain this photo a little. Over the weekend I took my aunt for a drive around the southern Adirondacks. We drove down the road my great grandmother used to live on and just had to stop at this pond to take a picture when we saw the colors.

So pretty!

This is one of my favorite ponds, because we always used to walk down the road from her house and skip rocks across the pond. I was never exceptionally good at it, but did learn the secret to picking good rocks to do it with.

The colors on Saturday were just stunning. There are more fall foliage photos on our Facebook page.
