Bacca Bellini at Loews Hotels

Rarely do I have the urge to immediately come back to my hotel room and write about what I ate or drank, but seriously this one drink tonight at the Loews in Atlanta — ahhhmazing!

Their drink menu features the signature drinks from all of the Loews properties and the first one I tried was the Bacca Bellini — the signature drink at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel in Florida. It has Prosecco, blueberry preserves, strawberry puree and rose syrup. It wasn’t sweet, but it wasn’t bitter or tart either.

I should have just ordered another one of them, but instead I tried the Rose Side Car — the signature drink at the Loews in Denver. Although I do like cognac, I ended up dumping this drink when I got back to my room. It had too strong of a taste for me personally.

It’s made with Hennessy VS Cognac, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice and homemade rose petal syrup with a sugar rim.
