I took this photo last Fall at BlogWorld during a VIP tour of the restaurants at the MGM Grand. It was so much fun, and I keep meaning to write about it and show photos of all the amazing food. Better late than never, right?
Although I’m not one for mixed drinks, the cable car at Nobhill Tavern was one of the top 5 drink I’ve ever had. When we walked into the dimly lit establishment, these were all set up along the bar, ready for the actual drink to be poured in.
Made with dark rum and an orange liquor, it has the perfect balance of sweet and sour. I don’t have their recipe, but here is a link to a cable car recipe from The Modern Mixologist.
Next time you’re in Vegas stop in and ask for one of these, trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
