How Do You Eat Leftover Spaghetti?

Some people love them. Some people hate them. I happen to be a fan. Even if there is just a little bit in the pot, I will usually save it and either have it has a snack the next day or incorporate it into something else I’m making.

The other day I was eating cold leftover spaghetti for lunch. Yes, cold. (I also prefer leftover lasagna this way, too)

It got me wondering how other people eat their leftover spaghetti.

For example, my mom used to put heat a  little bit of olive oil in a pan and heat the spaghetti. Sometimes she would almost fry it, because the macaroni would have a slight crunch to it.

I also wondered if I was the only one who preferred spaghetti cold?

  1. I like to believe that eating cold spaghetti while standing in front of the open refrigerator in the middle of the night…has no calories. 🙂

  2. I rather eat hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Eating leftover spaghetti or pizza is like drinking warm soda. Only do it if you're a dumb and lazy fratboy binge drinker who is hungover from the night before. After college, your palate and lifestyle will be a little more sophisticated. No excuse not to reheat it since the microwave was invented.
