Peanut Butter Apple-Cinnamon Breakfast Wraps

These peanut butter apple-cinnamon breakfast wraps are not just for the morning, but can be made anytime. They also make a healthy treat and are very portable to take in the car, on the train, on the boat for a snack, on a hike or into the office.

This morning we wrapped them up and took them with us on our morning walk to Shepherds Park in Lake George. If you too are in Lake George, stop at Caffe Vero to pick up a great cup of coffee and then pull up one of the many complimentary green Adirondack chairs in Shepherds Park and enjoy a peaceful breakfast with a great view.

What to get:
1 Granny Smith apple
Peanut butter
2 whole wheat wraps

Cut the apple into four large chunks and then thinly slice each quarter. Heat two wraps in the microwave for 30 seconds on high.

Coat each wrap with peanut butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Take the apple slices and arrange them across the wrap, making sure not to get too close to the edges of the wrap.

Roll up the wraps and place wrap in aluminum foil.


This was our view this morning while we were eating these yummy breakfast wraps.

  1. Yum! I'll have to try these – sound like a really yummy, healthy snack and SO easy! Even a completely inept cook such as I could put these together lol
