In the Adirondacks This Weekend?

In the Adirondacks this weekend? Well, lucky you, because there’s another packed fall weekend.

Harvest Fest 2009 is taking place at Gore Mountain and will feature live music, Adirondack-style vendors, a straw maze, gondola rides, and seasonal food and drink among other activities.

The event takes place Oct. 10 and 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Gore is easily accessible from the Lake George, Bolton and Schroon Lake. Just jump on the Northway and follow the signs, you can’t miss it.

There’s tons of stuff going on in Bolton Landing this weekend.

The Bolton Landing Emergency Squad Arts and Crafts Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Bolton Landing Fall Festival is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Both events are at Roger’s Memorial Park and take place Oct. 10 and 11.

If you were in town last weekend and didn’t get your fill of bargains at the World’s Largest Garage Sale in Warrensburg, then check out the town-wide garage sale in Bolton Landing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

A map can be picked up at the Bolton Landing Chamber of Commerce Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

And, of course, enjoy all the fall foliage which is just amazing at this time of year!!
